Andrea Cavedo writes literary and fabulist fiction, flash fiction, flesh fiction, historical fiction, short stories, shopping lists, semi-comprehensible late night Notes app diatribes, and humor. She also teaches history and government to high school students. Previously, she was a public affairs consultant and lobbyist, then a researcher and arts educator, and also wrote for several food blogs, whereby she made her Wikipedia debut in a footnote about Chicago’s French Pastry School. She holds degrees in history and education from the University of Chicago and DePaul, respectively, and lives just outside Chicago with her husband, two children, and a cat who is frequently in trouble.
