For the past decade, Andrea Cavedo has taught high school U.S. History and Government in and around Chicago. Previously a public affairs consultant and lobbyist, she also wrote for several Chicago-area food blogs, whereby she made her Wikipedia debut in a footnote about Chicago’s French Pastry School. She has fancy degrees from the University of Chicago and DePaul and lives just outside Chicago with her husband, two children, and a cat who is frequently in trouble. She is at work on a novel.
