For the past decade, Andrea Cavedo has taught high school U.S. History and Government in and around Chicago. Previously a public affairs consultant and lobbyist, then a researcher and arts educator, she also wrote for several Chicago-area food blogs, whereby she made her Wikipedia debut in a footnote about Chicago’s French Pastry School. She holds degrees in history and education from the University of Chicago and DePaul, respectively, and lives just outside Chicago with her husband, two children, and a cat who is frequently in trouble.
